Get ready for the ultimate swap event – it’s gonna be HOT!

We’ll be returning to San Diego Craft Collective with Commonplace San Diego for an evening of trading treasures and good vibes! Come swap seeds, plants, books, craft supplies or shop with local small business at the Vendor Market in the spirit of sustainability and community connection.

Participate in one or all of the swaps taking place! Prepare by bringing a wagon, tote bag or box to bring and take home your goodies.

CRAFTS+FIBER

San Diego Craft Collective, a nonprofit based in the heart of Liberty Station, is both our host venue and the leader of the craft and fiber swap. Dedicated to making craft and woodworking accessible to all ages and backgrounds, they provide a welcoming space for creativity and learning. While you’re at the event, explore their educational garden and discover more about their gardening and sustainability programs.

Bring clean, usable craft materials. Half-used yarn spools or scraps are fine, as long as they’re still workable.

SEEDS+PLANTS

San Diego Seed Swap is bringing the community together while hosting the seed and plant exchange for all levels of gardeners. You’re welcome to bring seeds, plant cuttings, fresh harvests, house plants, garden tools and more – the possibilities are endless! The Seed+Plant Swap is sponsored by the San Diego Air & Space Museum.

Don’t have anything to trade? No problem! Our community seed library will be fully stocked and open for everyone to take part. Our seed library is made possible by City Farmer’s Nursery, Plant Depot Nursery & Gift, San Diego Seed Company and Community Donations organized by @KrissyGrows.

BOOKS+CLOTHING

Commonplace San Diego creates opportunities for people to gather, create learn and swap. At this swap, they’ll be hosting books and clothing exchanges so bring gently used items and leave with something new-to-you! Bring as many gently loved books as you’d like and don’t be shy about picking new ones to take home. No one is keeping score here.

To participate in the clothing swap, please bring up to10 items and you may take the same amount of items in return. No under garments or bathing suits. We’ll have a few clothing racks and several tables to lay your items out. Anything left unclaimed will be donated to a charity.

TOYS+GAMES

Have toys or games that your family have outgrown? Bring them along for the toy swap led by The Treehouse Academy! It’s the perfect chance to pass along well loved playthings and discover something new that will spark joy at home.

Toys should be safe, clean, and complete.
